Carbs are important to regulate stress hormones and you need to keep range between 15% to 30% from your daily calorie intake from Good Carbs, Since the Ketogenic is hormonal diet so if you are not in ketosis state you defiantly will use another hormone- cortisol - to generate energy , and by time this will lead to fatigue and stress hormone disorder.
So it is important if you are following low card to maintain the mentioned percentage to balance your stress hormone and your diet beside the daily recommended fat and protein intake.

As an endocrinologist, I assure you that “adrenal fatigue” does NOT exist. Adrenal insufficiency is a different condition that MUST be taken care of an urgently managed, but the “fatigue” is not medically validated. FYI 😊
Hi Mohamed,
This topic is very debatable. Going on a low carb diet got its benefits sometimes for sure, but also there are some draw backs as you mentioned and more. Whatever your target is, it can be achieved without going into ketosis or eliminating the carbs in your diet for sure.
In terms of %s, it is subjective but definitely going zero carbs is a no no unless someone is preparing for an event (i.e. short term goal).
